Advertising
Advertising opportunities are available either stand alone or in concert with a sponsorship package so please contact the organisers or Brian Dunne our Sponsorship & Advertising Representative. You can contact ourselves or Brian via the contact telephone numbers as published elsewhere on the site or by dropping us an email direct from the “Contact Us” page. Advertising in the main will now be by the Official Tournament Programme and the website as all the entry forms have now been mailed. The programme will be an A5 size booklet with a colour external cover and the intention is to print monochrome full and half page advertisements although if the demand is high enough we will be considering full colour inserts. If you are specifically seeking to advertise in the programme we must have your artwork by the end of June 2009. We state this simply because a number of our generous funders have made a donation to the tournament without stipulating an advertisement must be carried and have indicated they will not be submitting artwork. If you have paid for an advertisement in the programme and want it published we can only do this if you submit your artwork to us for inclusion. We will in addition or alternatively, whatever is agreed, carry a hyperlink to your own website which is a very practical method of connecting your business to our tournament event. We are also in the throws of considering carrying spot advertisements which also provide a hyperlink to your website but obviously the amount of bandwidth we will need to achieve this is significantly more than we have originally set out with and we can only choose to go that route subject to demand and probably a nominal additional cost but as I say we are still studying the figures on that one but please let us know if you would be interested in carrying spot advertising on our site. The 2010 Unified Tournament is taking orders from advertisers who would like to be included on the official entry forms that are sent out in the first part of the year. For 2009 we mailed 5000 entry forms around the country to indoor bowls clubs open during the winter months and outdoor clubs that open for the spring and summer as from Mid April. Clearly there is an advantage for businesses in Worthing for example such as Hotels, Guest Houses and B&B’s to advertise directly to potential visitors to the town who are coming for the tournament and if you would like to be a part of that please contact us by the end of this year (2009) for next year’s (2010) event. In addition to advertising on the hard copy official entry form we will also carry your hyperlink on our website with immediate effect so now is a good opportunity to contact us and make an early booking in order others can make an early booking with you!!
